We try to make ourselves believe that our lives actually make any kinda of difference to the world that we're in, but if we open our eyes for just a second we realise how fucking wrong we are. Our lives are trivial and pointless things, snuffed out just as easy as one snuff out a candle. I'm just trying to get as much out of this pitiful existence we call life until my number finally comes up and I'm absorbed into the dark nothing that follows.

Storms on a cold dark night, where one can lose themselves from the pain that permeates life. The dark embraces you, with the flash of lightning being the only thing that prevents the absolute descent into the dark abyss of night. Music, though none of that faux-cheery pop crap. Books.
