I work in the porn industry as you may or may not know, and I am very busy doing publicity work all the time. I was a dancer at Scores but it was really thrugh my appearances on The Howard Stern Show where my name got established. I did the one movie with Rocco Siffredi, Rocco Meats An American Angel in Paris, but that was mostly as a fantasy. I didn't have the intention of being a porn star. But I guess I got porn fever afterwards because I went straight to Vivid. After I made the one (Rocco) movie it ended up getting nominated for Best Foreign Film but I didn't go to the AVN Awards that year because I was eight months pregnant. But I did go the following year, and I saw the Vivid booth and I knew the reputation that Vivid had, so I just went right up to Howard Levine and said 'How do I become a Vivid Girl?' And he just kind of looks at me and is like 'I don't know if we're looking for a contract girl. Just a minute.' And then he disappears and Marci came out and then they started to talk to me and realize that I'm Savanna from Scores and The Howard Stern Show and that was all pretty much what they needed. Next thing I know, the following day, I met with Steven at Starbucks and he offered me a contract. I really didn't even negotiate it.
