I have been hurt, betrayed, abandoned, hated, and neglected. Long years of pain I have endured. Internal agony is what I have felt. I was a broken girl lost in the shadows of the darkness. As a Christian, I have died within but the love of Christ brought me to life. I do not consider myself religious but rather spiritual. I am quiet and reserved. I do not trust so easily as many have betrayed my trust. When I am close to someone I become more outgoing and love to have a good time. I can be very silly at times. I love to brighten other people's days even when I can't brighten my own. I love to laugh and to make others laugh. I love to read and write. I hope to publish novels in the future. I'm a freshman in college. My major is psychology. I like to see beauty in things other's wouldn't normally see. I think having a gothic state of mind means seeing beauty in a dark world. I love long, deep conversations. The kind that keep me entranced. The kind I can learn from. I love being able to see things from another person's perspective. I treasure my time of solitude and need to spend at least a few hours alone each day to keep my sanity.
