I see myself as a very small thing, hidden behind my eyes and looking out. I can sence my emotions and the sightly too strong control they have over me, acting like somthing of a fog. I can't always see where I'm going when it comes to controlling my actions and thoughts because of that emotional haze. I see things that aren't there and miss important details. I can sense the holes in my memory and attention that sometimes make me forget the little things or that make me zone out when people are talking so that I can hear the words but can't comprehend what they mean. I never understood that limitation, because from observation it seems that most people can comprehend spoken words and respond clearly with no hinderance, while I just have to be silent and coax the haze to clear. Despite those limiting factors, I know that beneath them I'm perfectly clear and coherent and normal. I'm not stupid, I just have a hard time getting everything to clear up enough so that it makes sense to myself and to others. About the only time that I can get it out in perfect clarity is thought writeing or art. The fog seems to clear when I'm using ideas for things and spreading them across the page. I can't always speak and I can't always understand what I see and hear, but the connection between my inner self and my hand works just fine. So that's the entity inside. Like my whole physical self, she has vision problems. Some of these are hereditary conditions, others are experience by most of the human race to some extent, certintly. Then there's the relationship between myself and my body. I always wonder if others feel like they're looking out and down from deep inside their own skulls, like I feel. I wonder if anyone else spends time staring in wonder at their own hand as they twich a finger, knowing that yes, they are in deed causing a motion, but feeling the separation. Sever a few things and that finger won't obey, even though the person inside is still whole and perfect and knows how to cause the reaction.
