When I was little, my mom painted a giant rainbow on the wall beside my bed and at night I would try to count all of the spilled paint drops before falling asleep. I think it is important to be able to laugh at oneself. If an astounding amount of money just dropped into my lap, I would go to a record/movie store like Amoeba or Tower with a shopping cart and fill it up with all of the music and movies I've ever wanted or was ever curious about. It probably would require more than one shopping cart... I'm a pacifist and quite liberal. I love pomegranites and avocados. I firmly believe in the healing power of pillow fights. A talking stuffed ferret appeared in my kitchen a couple of years ago and has never left. In high school I wore a computer cord as a belt and actually thought that was cool. One year I was a carrot for Halloween. Another year I was an Elmer's Glue bottle-- some k1d tried to squeeze me to see if glue would come out of my head. I can flip a toothpick over in my mouth and tie a cherry stem with my tongue. There was a time when I firmly believed that I would become the first famous female tenor saxophone player. Then again, there was another time when I actually thought I'd become a math teacher... I once played a squirrel in an opera. I'm sure there is more to say about me, but I can't think of anything more at the moment. You'll just have to wait till later!

I like singing, listening to or making music, traveling, watching movies, backpacking, long walks, learning multiple languages, making random meaningless noises, falling asleep in the sun, eating great food (especially Indian!), trying to cook, making envelope collages, doodling, hanging out with my poodles (giant poodles-- none of this toy poodle business!), looking through old photo albums, pretending to be a lounge singer/pianist in a smokey dive bar (I still haven't figured out how I can be draped over the piano-- in a red sequin gown.
