At times I am how you see me but there is a multitude of enticing mystique that lies beneath. A facade may be what I'm fronting with one day but other times I wear my heart on my sleeve for all to bleed out. I'm the happiest of a lot of people I know, when thinking of my eternal love--but I am so tempermental that I can't say that's the norm. Being a teen, much less young woman, has it's pros and cons;more than ever I am realizing just how much. I look for the best in everything when and if I'm not too jaded. I try so hard because my ticket to sanity is held in my perception. Depending on what the case may be, I don't give up on something very easily, no matter how big or small. I try to employ practicality, not only my heart and gut feelings. Sometimes it is wise to accept what is not meant to be in your grasp or should not be, instead of continuously running into that all too real brick wall. I try to do the best I can with each and every solitary thing. I'm still working on not beating myself over the head with a crowbar if I recognize that I haven't. We all have our moments of realizing where there is room for improvement. I'm starting, only now, to realize that is not a crime, a serious infraction. "No one can make you feel inferior without your consent."-Eleanor Roosevelt. "You have nothing to fear but fear itself."-Franklin Delano Roosevelt. These two monumental figures in society make you think hard and it's worth it; it is to an avail. Keeping these two thoughts in your head can help you morph into a better being and will improve your quality of life. No matter how morbid one is and may still remain, there is no justified reason why we can't aspire to improve the quality of our wellbeing and lives. Isn't that what we all aspire to, no matter how naturally dark and traditionally gothic-hearted we may be? It's not a crime to pursue this either, though I am still working on convincing myself I am worthy and deserving. Preconditioning helped to leave me with only a distant but definite knowledge that I am inherently deserving. I feel I must still earn it, to some extent.
