The goal was for me to make my own list. Some years I did...some years I didn't. My personal goal when I was a teenager was to have the biggest hair in my school. I did. My personal goal when I was in my early 20s...to lose weight, dye my hair blonde and get a tan. I did. (still do on the dyeing my hair part) My personal goal now...to walk/run a marathon this next year. That is a hard one...check back with me next year to see if I did. My spiritual goal when I was a child...to memorize the books of the Bible. I did. Have Bible sword drill 1st place ribbons to prove it. My spiritual goal when I was a teenager...to read my Living Bible at least twice a week. I did...was just beginning my daily devos. My spiritual goal when I was in my 20s...to serve when possible...to be involved in much ministry...I did. My spiritual goal now...to fall face down before the throne of JESUS...acknowledging my nothingness without HIM...my righteousness through HIM. I did surrender...I do surrender...I will surrender. I am HIS!
