i want to die having known i made a difference, having known that i created acceptance where there had been none, knowing that i brought tolerance to a location where none ever existed, knowing that everyday i lived, i made at least one other person smile, knowing that just by being who i am, i managed to alter the fate of destruction. i want to be remembered after death as the girl who always tried, the girl who never gave in, the girl who was always there for anyone she could be there for. i want to be that person who is remembered. i want to be that person who shows the world what it's missing. selfish dreams and hopes, i know, i shouldn't want to be the one yet i do. i want to make a difference. it's going to be me, it's going to be my actions, my words, my dreams, my hopes, my aspirations. i'm going to show this world what cruelty does, i'm going to show them the scars this world's created in me, teach them the lessons i've learned. i'm going to teach them all.

yet before i can teach i have much to learn, i have so many lessons i haven't learned, so much i have yet to be taught. the world and it's people are still teaching me, still leading me, still showing me what life is, still showing me how i can make them all better, make it all better, how i can take away its pains. i'm still learning, still the student of life. i'm not perfect, truly i'm quite broken, yet i take life as it comes, learning from my mistakes and experiences, learning from the people who have hated me, who have loved me, who have shown me the world. i smile even if i feel like crying, i laugh even if i feel as though nothing in the world is funny anymore. i would throw away my happiness if it meant at least one other person in this world could have happiness, even if it was fleeting. i would give my heart, or give my brain, or give my soul if it meant that one more person could live.
