They tell me to write myself a biography, why; I still have not the slightest clue. Perhaps it is but another test to see if the doctor has remained sane throughout all her visits from the not so sane. My name is Alexia Riley and I am a Psychiatrist. (Wow, next time let me just say, Hi my name is Alexia, and I'm an alcoholic. I'm not though, hmm, yes this shall be a part in the biography I cross out later on.) But let us continue, I was a normal child, with a normal up bringing I suppose. My parents divorced when I was around 10 years old, they said it was from mutual differences. Though I wonder if they knew I knew that the mutual difference was dad's many affairs, mom wanting him to stop them while dad refusing to stay monogamous. I graduated from Oxford University with a P.H.D. and am quite the gentle soul, compared to what I do for a living everyday. Yes, I am the first to admit, I do not have a strict wild side to me, I let Malaya take that position in my life. She is my devilish conscious, that loves to get me drunk at the most horrible times. Now that isn't to say that I am a goodie-goodie all the time, I know how to let loose when the occasion calls for it, it's just that most of the time, it just doesn't.. or so I think. Now I am 32 years old, with nothing to call my own but my cramped apartment in the city of London and a few mental patients that come to my office on a daily basis. Oh yes, there is one, Robert Mangles; the man has been with me for about 7 years now. He walks in on his set time everyday (except for weekends, I refuse to see him on weekends) and speaks about how he wants to commit suicide. Sometimes I just want to open up the window, and say "Well, then do it already." But that would help no one, and it is just not the 'doctor' thing to do.
